A Rusted Development at LEA1!

I've been visiting Rusted Development lately. The design is by my good friend, Haveit Neox! The city is curated by Rowan Derryth. For a look at the catalogue, go to this page.

Right at the landing area, you should see the gallery sign. So just click it for information about this fabulous build! You should get a folder with the catalogue, the LM, and a notecard. The notecard reads:

The tale...
'The fabled merchant city that rode atop the back of a gigantic whale met with a calamity that ended its existence abruptly. In the middle of the ocean, a horrific storm caused two huge ships carrying toxic chemicals to collide into the swimming whale city. The whale and all the populace died in the flood of chemicals that saturated the waves.
The whale turned to bones, and the city to rust, it was nearly half a century before this city adrift was discovered. An expedition of artists, searching for land to build an art colony, came upon the decomposing city. With the intent to regenerate the place, they set to work by first towing to safe harbor the floating mass. Each artist then undertook their vision. The empty shell of the city suddenly filled in and expanded as each artist found their niche in the Rusted Development. No longer at the mercy of invisibility, the city humbles its rusted façade to the highlights of the art within.'

Happy Holidays from Lady Victoria and a Warm Welcome!

Hi all you art afficionados of SL and artists!

My name is Victoria Lenoirre and I rezzed in July 4, 2010. Independence day in the US! Yes, I am an American. I've been writing about art and admiring it in SL since I joined. Thanks to my mentor, brinda Allen and the people I've met along the way until now, I've been fortunate to be a part of the Art world in SL. I blog for UWA in SL as an art blogger. Before that, I was a Museum & Art editor with Wonderful Evenings SL Date Guides, that was how I got started. I also wrote an article for PURE magazine, not sure what's going on over there. I currently write for Levity Magazine. I worked with Cisum webzine briefly, before it shut down. I've worked as a blog manager for Palais Orleans Art Magazine and I am a blog manager for Rez SL magazine.

Also, I'm an animator in SL. I started out creating static poses in February 2010. Then several months ago, think it was September, I started doing custom animations for clients. And I've been doing custom work ever since. I just lately started created animations for AOs. It's amazing how far I've come!
